Display Settings
For best results, screen resolution should be ideally set to 800 x 600 and no larger than 1024 x 768. This site will support higher resolutions, but some layout and spacing issues may be encountered.
Font Settings
Internet Explorer
Since font size and style are determined with style sheets, you cannot increase them in the “Text Size” selection on the “View” menu. If font size too small, reduce your screen resolution to 800 x 600 or change the dpi settings in Control Panel as explained below.
- To increase font size using Microsoft Windows, you may change your settings from the start menu.
- From the start menu select “Control Panel”.
- In the control panel window select the "Display" tab.
- Reduce the screen resolution to a lower value.
OR
- To increasing screen resolution using Microsoft Windows, you may change your settings from the start menu.
- From the start menu select “Settings”, and then select “Control Panel”.
- In the control panel window double click “Display”. You should now be in the “Display Properties” window.
- On the “Settings” tab change your setting for the desktop area to 800 by 600 pixels.
OR
- Alternatively, you may right click anywhere on your desktop and select "Properties" from the menu
- From this point follow the preceding instructions depending on your version of Windows.
Netscape
If the font size is too small, you may increase the size by selecting “Text Zoom” or "Text Size" from the “View” menu.
Internet Explorer Settings
Ensure Style Sheets are Enabled
- From the “Tools” menu select “Internet Options”.
- Towards the bottom of this window in the section entitled "appearance", you will see a button labeled “Accessibility”. Click the “Accessibility” button.
- Ensure that there are NO check marks by any of the listed options. (“Ignore colors specified on web pages”, “Ignore font styles specified on web pages”, “Ignore font sizes specified on web pages”, “Format document using my style sheet”)
Netscape Settings
Ensure that you are using the site formatting.
- From the "Tools" menu select "Options".
- Select “General". This should reveal a sub-menu.
- Select “fonts” button.
- Uncheck "Always use my: fonts, colors".
Ensure JavaScript and Style Sheets are Enabled
- From the "Tools" menu select "Options".
- Click"Site Controls".
- To the right under "Web features" check "Enable JavaScript".
