Blackstone Consulting, who has been providing corporations and government entities with critical support service since 1991, was on Microsoft Exchange 2010 and needed to upgrade their messaging environment. With an upsurge in growth and a team of employees in need of anywhere, anytime access to their email, it was critical for Blackstone to choose the best suited, cloud messaging platform for their environment.
CorpInfo swiftly engaged with the Blackstone Consulting team to provide the preeminent solution Office 365 and why it was the right solution for their current pain points. Blackstone selected CorpInfo to partner with because of our proven track record of Office 365 and Exchange Online migrations. Blackstone Consulting chose to do an Exchange 2010 to Office 365 Exchange Online migration for all of their employees.
CorpInfo’s Office 365 team provided Blackstone Consulting with all 4 phases of the project- planning, build, deployment, and post deployment. For the planning phase, an assessment of the current messaging environment and a schedule of remediation tasks prepared the migration schedule, and planned for the deployment of directory sync.
Next the building phase with setup of the Office 365 account including billing and verifying domain ownership and preparing the infrastructure by validating and activating user accounts in the Office 365 portal. For the deployment phase there was verification of email functionality and guidance for the configuration of applications/devices and instructions for mobile device setup.
During the post deployment phase confirmation that all mailboxes were working properly and an onsite engineer was there to assist with email client and mobile device configuration. CorpInfo’s help desk staff assisted users remotely to ensure all were properly setup.
